All of you losers in the internet space are pussies if you can't self-finance because your capital requirements are so low. Moreover, you have no fucking idea how VCs operate. Their portfolios are loaded with high-tech and capital intensive deals and then they throw scraps at you stupid internet assholes to fight over for a year or two and see if it goes anywhere. Wake up. And don't think you're clairvoyant in your stupid business pursuits. You are the dregs of private investment.

I loved your closing comments on the Facebook/Parenting issue. I actually want to quote your blog on a news story I am doing for Channel 11 - CBS in Dallas, TX.

With your permission, I'd like to use your closing paragraph and provide your credit.

Below:

My take: This is a new parenting frontier – an opportunity. We are two steps behind our kids, even if we think we know what they are doing online. It is a parent’s responsibility to discipline (Latin root = teach) our children how to protect themselves. Many kids balk at the idea of sharing their online communications with parents. Until my children are 18, I am the authority. We need to set expectations for our kids & walk them through this uncharted territory with guidelines. Parents: require your children to share passwords with you. Set time aside to see what your children are doing online. Invite them to browse through their accounts with you. Ask questions and really listen

-----------------------------------------------
Please email me by COB tomorrow (sorry, were on deadline) and let me know if you prefer I dont.

Many thanks,
Mark Bunting

Excellent..I like your work.As matter of fact traffic is really connected with page rank ,creating and adding new pages to increase a site's total PageRank so that it can be channeled to specific pages, there are certain types of pages that shouldnotbe added. These are pages that are all identical or very nearly identical and are known as cookie-cutters. Google considers them to be spam and they can trigger an alarm that causes the pages, and possibly the entire site, to be penalized. Pages full of good content are a must.Pls give me a visit on my BLOG.And get connected to updated GOOGLE TRICKS.

Hello,

I was searching for informations about antique typewriters over internet and came upon your contact so I felt free to ask you few questions.

I just bought the Ideal typewriter that has the body of machine from the following link
http://www.geocities.com/wbd641/TilmanIdealC1917.jpg
but it has the top cover like the machine from the following link.
http://www.geocities.com/wbd641/TilmanIdealB1913.jpg

It's serial numbers are schratched by someone long time ago so I can't really check them,
but it has the "A.-G. Vorm. Seidel & Naumann - Dresden" signature with big (S & N) logo in front side.

I got it for 25 EUR and it's in great condition, except it's full of home dust and few hairs on grease, so I would like to clean it and put it in my living room as an decoration.

If you have some tips about cleaning such machine I would apreciate it. I wouldn't want to destroy
it's original paint. I allready checked the paind by nail and it's easily being turn to dust.

If I touch the paint with diluent it will destroy the paint. How about medical alcohol?
I wanted to lubricate the machine with weapon cleaning oil, would it be allright or is there somethign better that I sould work with?

Also, could you please tell me your opinion on it's real value?

This typewriter has a movie on youtube:

Thank you and best regards,

[...] My angle is that Silicon Valley is not setup for long term research in a way that made it what it is today. We are seeing institutional research vaporize in front of our eyes. Checking around it’s apparent that there is very little core and applied research going on. If there is research it is controlled by short term horizons like business profits and venture capital horizons. I’ve said before that we need a new approach. [...]
