In this post by Tim O’Reilly he talks about Web 2.0 again.  What kills me is his view that as he says “I’ve gotten some traction..”  Tim: you haven’t got traction.. the world is connected and they have traction… This isn’t about ‘coining a phase’.  Web 2.0 is the most obvious thing happening.  I agree with many of the points made but to take credit for it is funny.  Web 2.0 has been talked about for years.  The rules of Web 2.0 are changing everyday.  Web 2.o is about the natural evolution of the web and web services is taking center stage.  The definition will continue to evolve and entrepreneurs will fill the void with new technologies.  In the end the users will benefit and so will the companies that develop new technologies. 

My favorite quote of his post….”A lot of what I’m trying to do with my thinking on Web 2.0 is to make the rules apparent to everyone, so that the industry isn’t blindsided. “   – Thanks for letting us know.
